My Favorite Animaniacs Songs
“Animaniacs” is one of those shows that most of the cartoon community seems to be familiar with, but it was another show that I missed out on growing up. I had been sitting on it for quite a while due to being preoccupied with getting familiar with Nickelodeon and The Disney Channel’s shows the past few years (Fox was the original network for “Animaniacs”). Right around when the new year started, I finally decided to give “Animaniacs” a try. I eventually sat through the entirety of the show, and I gotta say, I freaking LOVE it! Its’ legendary status in the world of animation is well-deserved. One of the many amazing things about this show is the songs. I would go so far as to say that “Animaniacs” has the best songwriting of ANY animated show I’ve come across. Yeah, for real! Therefore, I thought it would be interesting if I made a list sharing some of the best songs the show has ever done. It will include well-known music numbers from the show and others that are just personal
It may not get talked about as much as other animation studios out there, and it may only have five films to its name as of right now, but I think LAIKA is up there with the best of them. Their films utilize an utterly breathtaking stop-motion animation style mixed with lovable characters and imaginative stories. That is simply unacceptable. More people should be seeing their movies! The people who work at LAIKA are extremely talented and clearly put a lot of thought and care into their films. The company deserves to make more revenue. I hope that their upcoming film planned for release next year, "Wildwood", can get them back on track financially. I'll

Forgotten Cartoons Ep. 52: Girlstuff/Boystuff
Happy Leap Day to you all! I thought I'd celebrate this day that comes only once every four years by doing the newest episode of "Forgotten Cartoons". Today's show was requested by poolfullofbeauty on Reddit. I've been sitting on this one for nearly three years now, so I figured I should check it out already. The show is titled "Girlstuff/Boystuff". "Girlstuff/Boystuff" was created by Ruth Beni. It aired on YTV in Canada and on Noggin in the United States from November 2002 through February 2003 with a total of 2 seasons and 52 episodes. The show is about six teenage friends, who talk about the differences between girls and boys, examining topics such as hobbies, food, music and fashion. I wasn't sure to expect from this, but I came in with an open mind. I watched the entire first season in preparation for this review. What do I think of it? Honestly, I can't think of a show in recent memory that has left this little of an impact on me. I'm not saying the show is bad. It's
